This is basically a card that has little shelves in it that will carry 4 coins or 3 coins to make for a super clean load. I just want to know where to find it as I can't think of the lecturer's name. Any help would be great, thanks.

You might want to check out Impossible Matrix by John Kennedy at Penguin Magic (www.PenguinMagic.com). They have something similar, but I don't know if that's what you want.

I've seen the type you're talking about and for a while was hand making them... No I don't know who makes it either. Paul Harris Art of Astonishment Vol 1 teaches how to make such a card. You also make it by hand.
I found Paul Harris' method to be superior. Eric

I would strongly recommend sticking with Al Schneider's original no gaff Matrix, still the best.
I have Kennedy's Impossible Matrix (which only holds 1 coin ) but always go back to the original. Rennie
The effect is the important thing, how you achieve it is not.......

I know the one that you're talking about, but it has been a while since I've seen one -- I'm not sure but Danny Archer's name comes to mind.

Danny Archer is your man!
John Kennedy's Matrix card is great too. Regards, Paul Green |

I also believe that Don England published this idea in Apocalypse......

You could use a "shimmed" card
rather than a coin holding card this gives an excellent matrix effect |

I guess the orginal poster ment Chad Longs coin card that he shows in his international magic lecture video

This sounds like an interesting gimmick, I'll have to look it up. I was less than pleased with Impossible Matrix.

That's it, it was Chad Long's lecture. I believe it was Danny's card from the research I've done but I will also have to check out Kennedy's version as well. Thanks everyone !

I've seen Chad use it in his lecture. His explanation and the trick are hilarious...
It is a gimmick to produce the coins for a matrix not a gimmick to do the actual matrix with. As far as I know this was originally a Don England idea. I think they're very easy to make yourself.

Carlos Vacquera also shows the manufacture and use of such a card on his IM lecture video.
