Ijust recently bought an Anchor Liberty Extreme...it rocks! I paid $1600.00 with the built in wireless mic. The thing is awesome and will cover over 1000 people at a time.

JBL Eon 15 powered speakers will fill a large space with the sound reinforcement you need. They are reasonably priced and the company has a solid reputation. If you need more than just a microphone, a small mixer will complete your pa system.
