Derren,
First of all, I really want to thank you for all the good times you provide us : your series brillantly demonstrate that "magic" shows do not necessarily mean 80's like awful haircuts, cheesy music and eternising nonsense dances around peculiar wooden boxes. Here's a bunch of questions for you. Your stage character has deeply evolved from close-up performer to "expert in psychology", and then you seem to go sleightly back towards magic with trick of the mind (as you mention the word magic and you introduce your routines as games). Why ? Do you expect to change once again ? Your shows as well as Blaine's are not broadcast in France. In fact, "mentalism" is never showed. Have you performed here and do you feel that latin audience is more reluctant to this style of performing than anglo-saxon audience ? What's the secret for a good cup of tea ? Best wishes |
