If I have a specific purpose to Force a specific card, I will force a specific card as Mr. Mayer posted in the fourth post in this thread. But if the purpose is only to let spectator take a known card, I will Force a glimpsed card after spectator shuffled the deck. Will you still Force a specific card for this purpose?

Ha...7 of clubs... but I think it is kinda interesting that most magicians always clubs or diamonds while laymen almost always pick hearts or spades

Depends on the effect I want to do. But then again, I force whatever card there is.

Whatever card is required for the trick.
I prefer to freely select - then control the card or glimpse in process of handing deck to spectator. Lofty |

I kept thinking how silly this topic was, untill I realized that I do put a little thought into what cards I force on someone.
For children I prefer to stay away from clubs, (and I'm hesitant about spades), and I usually like the card to be between a 2 and 7. The reason is that its a lot easier for a kid to remember the 4 of hearts then it is to remember the jack of clubs.... For adults or older children, I don't have any favorites (again, not entirely true. I like 6, 8, 9, A, 2, 4, 6 for some revelations.... If you wanna know why, pm me).
If you're reading this you're my favourite magician.

6 of Spades. Is so. Good reason. And, am finding other interesting minor arcana over the years. A card selected from a regular deck can be revealed as its Tarot equivalent in a number of ways and vice versa. Folks follow cups to hearts etc. fairly easily if stated simply.

Force? Surely not! I like to allow them to select the six of diamonds. They are so good at it!

Jack of Clubs. Alternatively, the King can be used instead.
