OK, If your'e like me you have at least one or two decks of Svengali, Stripper, Black Tiger, Mental Photo, etc. etc. etc.
I had at least 50 decks laying around. I also had a cabinet that I put audio cassettes into. Remember those??? The pre-CD era. I took out the drawers mounted one on the wall, the card decks fit perfectly in eack little cassette slot. Try it! I hope it helps!

Hi
Good idea - pick them up at the charity shops cheap.

Ten four, I may have to stack them in garage.
Any ideas about labeling?

All my trick decks have little sleeves that came around the boxes that say what deck they are, and can easily be slid off before performing.
Could you do the same thing printed on your computer? |

You can get a dymo label maker that prints out the laser labels pretty cheap. That's what I use.

My gaffed/setup decks have a code of no more than four tiny characters written on the flap, so I know that I have the right deck.

Can you tell alittle more about how that code works? I'v etried a similar thing, but it didn't work out too well, because I thought the code on the boxes looks odd to a spectator. it almost semed to scream "SPECIAL DECK IN THIS CASE!" Or at least that's what I felt. Almost like some guys refuse to pencil dot their cards because they fear some sharp eyed spec will spot the dot.

I make small initials on the side of the box near the bottom:
I = invisible deck p = phil s = stacked m or . = marked etc etc, its a personal choice, what little mark or initial will you remember when you see it? |

I mark my decks that I use on the end flap that opens. When opening the box I can be sure I have the right one, and laying the box down with the flap open hides my little notes.

Drywall tracking about 3/4 inch painted black mounted on the wall holds decks well and I also use it to hold my collectible decks of used casino cards. Displays nicely too if you have the wall room.

Ok. Most individuals have a common junk drawer, yes? Some have many! But I have one- solely for cards. It's stacked up halfway. Eventually I practice mercury folds, etc with them. But they just keep building up. And normally I go through a deck a week. Now- that's also a problem:0

I also use the clear plastic boxes with certain decks in different smaller boxes (each marked with what's inside. I have on hand a LOT of decks of cards and have one large box marked simply - EXTRA.
The Doctor will see you now! ;-)
