Can anyone help me with finding location in the North of England? I'm unable to locate any? Any help would be much appreciated, Cheers Matthew |

Go to http://www.magicweek.co.uk and there is a seperate link for conventions but the largest is in February in Blackpool, then the 'North-East Convention' in March.

The South Tyneside convention in March is very good.
Its small too - only 150 or so against 3000 at Blackpool. Depending on what you call north, there are conventions at Leeds, Ferrybridge, and some in the north-west. |

Just a reminder that spaces for the South Tyneside International Magic Week
are filling up! Most of last years registrants have confirmed they will be attending and spaces are limited (150) The dates are Friday 18th, Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th March 2005. Same deal...fantastic acts, low registration numbers and two Gala Shows in the Customs House theatre - much better than last years venue! We have confirmed Richard Osterlind Falkenstein & Willard Michael Finney Jamy Ian Swiss a and Paul Daniels (performing his Malini show) also Loki, Quentin Reynolds, Pat & Tanya Fallon, Jon Allen and Martyn James & Co. Dealers are Magic Box, Dream Concepts (who are performing a light-house vanish on the Thurs night pre-registration), Practical Magic, Albion Magic and Jon Allen. You get to see all the above whatever they are performing - stage, close-up or lecture plus a workshop by a voice coach and two buffet lunches all for £40! The convention finishes on the Sunday lunchtime and then you have the option of private sessions with Jamy Ian Swiss or Richard Osterlind - these are limited to 25 people. You will get 3 hours of instruction and teaching. I can send you details of exactly what you are getting but despite to say most of it will not be available to anybody else in books or DVD's! Richard and Jamy have promised stuff they will not be including in their lectures that all registrants see! These "exclusive" workshops are extra to the £40...but don't forget all registrants see Richard and Jamy lecture, perform close-up and stage too. If you want a registration form and email me or go to http://www.southtyneside.info and follow the link for International Magic Week 2005 Martin |
