I have been going back over my palming with coins and have found for some reason
my hands just don't hold the coins as tight as before and I lose the coin in the move. When I was in magic years ago they had stuff to put on your hands to help . Do they still have it??? Or does someone have a secret they would with me on this problem ??? Thank You Alson |

Wash your hands and dry them before working. Also try and work in a cooler atmosphere where you won't sweat so much. And use coins which are the right size for your hands. I find I have problems with the classic palm with anything which isn't the right size.
The finger palm is much more tolerant of size and conditions and there are loads of good routines just using that. |

BlackShadow,
It is true some plaming methods are harder than others, like back and forward plaming a coin. But you are right, I use the classic plam a lot but use also the tumb grip method ,not the right name . They use to have stuff call plaming fluid It made what ever you plam kind of sticky but not bad . I have Mickey mouse hands they are small so I have to be careful, even my vent puppets have to be made special for me.But I do the back and forward plaming with no touble. Thank for the information . I will wash my hands carely the next time I work. Alson |

Using coins with well-milled edges can also help. I too have really small hands and I use '64 Kennedy halves for most of my coin magic. They have great edges and work really well for me.
One thing that I practice frequently that really helps me is palming four coins at a time and releasing one at a time. Also, more often than not at work, I usually have a coin palmed in at least one hand most of the day. Check out Dan Watkins website www.coinvanish.com. He has a great tutorial on the classic palm.
