I would like some feedback on the various thimble designs (I own the smaller Mogar type). I would like to purchase some Vernet style thimbles, but I wonder if there is enough roughage to provide a decent grip. Is this a factor in Vernet thimble selection? It would be great to have a thimble that nests AND has a good grip.

Go to http://www.porperoriginals.com and look for his thimbles. They nest and are beautifully machined in brass.

Delicious! Perfect! Exactly the design I was looking for!
I wonder, though, what kind of visibility they may have to a larger group? Do you think the brass could be washed out for the back row spectators? Hmmm. I'll have to think this purchase over. Jesse |

See if he can powder coat them in white.
