Hey,

I've always been a huge fan of faro principles. I rarely use them in performance but just for my own personal enjoyment.

Recently I saw a performance and noticed the use of a faro principle I hadn't encountered before. I've been able to work out how the principle works but I'd like to read more about it.
So I'm hoping someone could point me towards a source discussing it.

It appeared to be a variation of Marlo's Incomplete Faro Control. However the faro did not have to be anywhere near perfect. When a card was peeked the whole top half of the interlaced packet was picked up and both visible cards were remembered. Then when the deck was reassembled the top half was reversed (so the outjogged cards were now the injogged cards).
Proceed as with the Incomplete Faro Control and one selection is on the face and the other is 26 from top.

I guess it isn't really a faro principle as the deck doesn't need to be faro shuffled...

Can anyone suggest a source where this is discussed?

Thanks,

Sam
