I have purchased the Swami that comes 4 in a pack with the little green book.
Richard Osterlind recommends removing the flesh (pink) paint off them and using them bare metal. Mine are steel rather than brass and no matter how long my thumb nails are they won't stay. I have adjusted the curve to match my nail... is there a paint or coating I can apply that will decrese the slickness of the metal and help them stay in place? Thanks, Ken. |

I have been experimenting with it and found if I dremel the edge of the undernail portion with a stone it raises a bit of a burr around the edge and makes it hold much better. A little flat flesh enamel from a hobby shop on the exposed surfaces and I think this is going to work well!
