Ray, Here's a tip I learned from a pro golfer many years ago about nerves. Take a deep breath in and then slowly release it when you get nervous like that. He taught me to do that just before any putt. My nerves still show up from time to time on the golf course. I'll feel it on the tee box on the green or over birdie / eagle puts. Those deep breaths help.
