It's literaly hour to hour with my father.
Six years of being worried sick about love ones dying with cancer has changed me. I appreciate the respect I receive here. Thank you. |

That's got to be a real tough thing to go through, you must feel numb.

The "hour to hour" comment was apparently wrong, though right: I don't know.
The clock ticks, and I am 10,000 miles away. Part of my ordeal is being AWAY from those who are dying. Mt father-in-law died in April, here in Germany. It was a beautiful death. He was 86, and my wife and brother-in-law were there, and said goodbye, and after he died the family gathered and saw him and mourned. My sister died, but I was not there. My father will die, and I will not be there. Thanks for listening, friends here at the Magic Café. |

I'm so sorry to hear that Stone, please accept my condolences
Two weeks ago on Oct 28th, I found my brother and roommate of 15 years dead at home, he was 38. It's been a rough few weeks, but we're getting better with the help of God, Family and Friends.

Jeff ,
Being one who has survived several catastrophic losses in short order a couple of times, I can say that it will get better and it is not always like this. Don't let the weight of loss crush you. Surprisingly, there can be joy even in the abyss. Lunatik, I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you know how many of your friends here in the Café are sending supportive wishes. Words fail us at times and there are many who can't think of anything to say that are sending healing thoughts and prayers. -Mary Mowder |
