I'm working on an escape artist show, with a little help from the great Dan Harlan.
Dan does his show with a truly THICK rope. Looks to be 3/4 of an inch to even an inch thick, yet still soft and plyable as in the standard cotton magicians rope. I can't find it in my hardware store. Their rope is STIFF. That won't work! Can anyone tell me a source where I can find this ultra thick, yet soft rope?

Yep, the BTC (link above) is the best source. It's the closest to the rope I used to use, but have never been able to find again. The search continues.

I searched for extra soft rope on e-bay and it took me to bondage rope. I took a chance and it was great for all types of rope tricks. all different colors as well

I like the feel of the Baronian rope, I do wish it was bright white though.
