This question is about actual billiard balls (snooker to be exact). Can a very small hole be drilled through one? I am interested in amking a large l**p ball.

A vise,drill press with drill bit and a ball should do the trick

I think Ray is right on with this. That would probably be all that you would need to do this. Just make sure to treat the vise first with a cloth etc. tso that you do not chip the paint etc. on the surface.
