Hi! I just have a quick question about Private Property by Jay Sankey. On the website, it says that the trick is completely self-working, but in the demo video, it looks like Sankey does a "move" when he flips the top card of the deck over to reveal the spectator's card. Thanks.

Unless you can't perform a double lift than there is no move. Private properity allows you to keep your eye on the box no matter where your looking

Given how badly 90% of all magicians do a DL it's hardly a self-working trick.

Yeah, but its easy to still fool people with a sloppy DL. I hate when I get a TL instead!

Old thread, but the DL is NOT needed to do the basic effect. The DL was only used to show that the spectator finds their own card. If you just want to divine the card yourself, no sleights are needed.
