Hi,
For those reading this who read the previous thread which was deleted, I have it on good advice that the method for this effect is ....... COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN SUC 1 or 2. So it appears that it was right of the moderators to delete the old thread Phillip |

After having just watched the demo again the method is blindingly obvious! The question is, does £20 seem worth it?

I too thought the method was amazingly obvious!

Yes, if you are a Magician the method is amazingly obvious. But the same could be said about the SUC, which I carry with me always.
The Mindcontrol wallet is (I believe) based on the Jaks wallet, but is a four fold instead of the Jaks three fold. Dr Jaks killed with his wallet, so once again it all comes down to presentation, and not drawing attention to the wallet you are using. It should be something you just take a card from to record a thought. My only concern is that in making the wallet a 4 fold it becomes a bit cumbersome to use in walk around with no table available. Apart from that, is it worth £20?? I'm not sure, but then there is a lot worse stuff out there that is higher priced. Scott |

A friend has the "Mind Controller" and it works rather well. But, I would prefer the Sight Unseen case because it can be used for predictions, in addition to peeks, making it more versatile.

I just don't like the name of it, I mean, it's not like you're controlling minds here...
And yeah, method is obvious. Logan

There is much in the Café regarding SUC. It is superior to Mind Controller, albeit more expensive too. BUT, sometimes you do indeed get what you pay for and Mind Controller might be for a leaner budget and that is okay. Additionally, consider the laborious nature of opening and closing this multi-fold wallet. It resembles nothing I ever seen that one would carry. Get Strivings SUC.

If the Jaks wallet is still available it may be cheaper. And more versatile.
Try Tannen's (I hate to say that!) in the U.S. for the Jaks wallet, they used to make it, in the UK RAR used to supply one. MC is a nice idea, but in practice forces you to do the "business" at psychologicaly the wrong time. A lot of magic dealers don't understand mentalism. Paul. |

I don't know if Tannen's still sells Jaks peek cases, but when they did, they included a second, ungimmicked case (apparently for those magicians who don't know how to present mentalism). Of course, you could "fix" the second case in about five minutes, which gave you two for the price of one!

Hello all, just come on to the site and fumbled across these postings for "The Mind Controller Wallet", glad to see that you're all taking an interest albeit good or indifferent.Just as a point of interest there is a subtle design aspect that doesnt generally get noticed by magicians or spectators but fools you nevertheless when watching a demo and that is the placement of the snap fasteners. If you watch the demo on JBTV as the wallet is being opened/closed you get sucked into thinking that you have seen all sides of said wallet by the flash of the snap fastener.
Hello to Mr Hallas ( met you at Eastbourne recently along with Paul Ingram & Noel Massey) Regards Mark Thorold

"Hello to Mr Hallas ( met you at Eastbourne recently along with Paul Ingram & Noel Massey) Regards Mark Thorold" Ah yes, the after show session in the expensive hotel bar (well, one of them anyway).I didn't make the connection between you and the wallet Mark. I'm afraid I didn't add it to my collection of peek wallets (how many does one man need ,lol). Nice to have met you and welcome to themagiccafe, you will enjoy it here. Best wishes, Paul. |

Instead of assuming what the mind controller would be like ,, because you yourself figured it out, while intensely burning the video of it on jbtv. why don't you ask somebody who uses it exactly what they think. laymen do not even mention the wallet. and I can swear to that , once youve put the wallet away and play on guessing what they have wrote/drawn they completely forget about the wallet.trust me. O and in reference to the clips on jbtv, if you ever tried performing to a camera you'd get a shock. a camera does not blink, cannot be misdirected , and certainly doesn't look away at the point most normal people would naturally do. (unless your oz pearlman when at the most convenient moments the camera suddenly zooms in on the card being signed or away from his hands as he palms a card. so which is fairer seeing exactly what youve got to do , an maybe figure out how its done. or not see any of the moves in the demo, get it home and suddenly realise you had to do 3 mercury card folds under the spectators nose.(exagerated obviously) lol.. but you no what I mean
magic is an art.admire others work, if you do not understand it, do NOT slag it off.

Hello , I have been researching peek wallets this week I think the STEALTH WALLET is the right choice, also you can use this as your everyday wallet does not look like a magic prop. Anyone else have this wallet ? If so please let me know ? Hurry up hocus -pocus sales ends Wednesday.
THANK YOU TOPHATTER. |
