Nope...busy. Is there a web page you can point me to for info, though? It sounds interesting.

I might be coming up there for a day or so. I'll see what I can do to extend it to Saturday, but with the July 4th weekend, returning to Vegas is a bit difficult.

If you can not attend the I.B.M. International Convention in Reno then here is the best thing to being there........

The I.B.M. will have a live Webcam during the convention where you catch some exciting live footage of the convention. It will be on the I.B.M. Website at http://www.magician.org

Also Ryan Pilling will be broadcasting his MagicBroadcast.com live during that same week. If you have been listening in go check it out now.

I will be there live in person. If you are coming to the convention make sure to say "Hello" I am always ready to meet a new friend in magic, old ones too.

I need to come in for the Ring 2100 meeting, and it's early Thursday morning. So, unless I come into some extra cash in the next two weeks, I won't be there on Saturday.

Last Year's IBM Convention in Cleveland was great! It was my first IBM Convention.

Reno should be even better. Unfortunately, I too am booked elsewhere. But Steve Hart's reminder of the web casts was terrific. I got to see tehm doing them live last year, so this year I will connect via the web.

If you can make it, GO!

I.B.M. I wish! that's the only club I'm not a member of....Impossible to join!
S.A.M. Ive been a member for ten great years, Acadamy of Magical Arts, ive been a member of for 6 years. I.M.S. 12 years. If you don't know anybody that is a member of the I.B.M. It is impossible to join, cause I have been trying to join for over 9 years now. Hell I guess after this long of trying why should I even bother explaining! Besides I'll be attending Jeff McBrides 6 day extended Master Class in July. So have fun guys, and break a wand!

Certainly if there is an active IBM ring in your area, and you attend a couple of meetings, you will find guys falling over themselves to sign your app.

And if there isn't a ring nearby, you can always take a look the online IBM Ring 2100 and based on your credentials, it should not be too hard to find a couple of members there to "sponsor" you.

Hey man, I see those big rings in your Avatar, and I am a big ring guy too, so I might even be willing to stand for you, as soon as I send in my annual dues since anyone signing for others must be a member in good standing.

A friend of mine got his app signed by a former officer in our ring, and it turns out, that guy hadn't paid his IBM dues in years (he hasn't been an officer for a number of years either, and probably never will be again..)

Just send in your IBM application and I am certain the folks there will sponsor you...I know a person who lived in a place where no other magicians were located and they did the same for him!

I just wanted to make a follow up to a post I left many months ago here, about my wish of becoming a member of the I.B.M. And how it was almost impossible to join.
Well thanks to the magic Café's own Steve Hart, that dream has come true. Thank you steve. Are there any I.B.M. events scheduled this Up-coming year in Reno? Looking foreward to making some new friends in magic! Good Bless!

Kalin and Jinger have there Underground Magic Theater in downtown Reno.
It is unbelievable. It is like a museum. A great show.

There is also a group of magicians that meets there as a magic club.
They will tell you when they meet.

They have a good group. I was able to lecture there last year.
