Hi Richard,
Thanks for taking the time to be part of this forum. I hope this week is as informative for you as it is for the Café members. You mentioned in a number of posts that you perform the PCT up to 50 times at an event. Do you always perform it in a similar fashion and if so, is the routine the same as on your video? By the way, I have found the PCT booklet quite helpful and a worthy companion to the video. The suggested routine always gets a great personal reaction. I have had limited success and also abject failure with the cold reading dialogue leading up to the revelation. Any suggestions? All the best. Renaldi |

Renaldi,
I do vary the PCT routine a bit as I work, but the routine I do almost constantly is exactly what you saw in the video. I also use my pad constantly for predictions, to make notes on, etc. The paper is also perfect for Al Mann's Mag Eye Move or Millard's Acidus Plus, so I have a lot of different variation I can use. But I have found that people are a lot more intereted in what I say about the person whose name I guess than they are about the mechanics. I also start to give the reading before I begin tearing. I try to make it appear that as soon as I touch the paper, something comes to me. |

As I mentioned in a previous post (not in this thread) I perform the PCT in walkaround and it absolutely blows peoples minds. I've been joking a little, leading up to the reveal, and then their jaws actually drop when I reveal the name.
My questions to you, Richard, are...do you do the PCT to multiple people in same group, where in the 'set' do you do the PCT, and what do you follow it with (if anything)? Thanks again for sharing your wonderfull knowledge and experience. |

Robert,
We sell the pads on our website. The size is about 2 1/2 by 3 1/2. You can do the routine with any paper, but you might want to get a couple of ours and learn the tear with those first. After that, it is easy to adapt to other paper. On airline, I always use the drop out card from the mags. That works perfectly and all you need to do is rip out a piece with some open area in the middle of one side. Richard |
