I just want to know how your opinion is.
FIrst doing a normal trick an then again a pimped overplayed dc version. Funny or not? |

I like the concept! Sounds like it could be really funny if done properly!

Do you get MTV in your area? Do they show "Pimp My Ride?"
The cat (Exzibit?) that does that show keeps me in stitches, mainly because he disses those clunkers SO HARD. His facial expressions are the best. You can tell what he's thinking just by the look on his face, and then when he says his dis, it's side-splitting! His character is well developed. Are you going to simulate (a nice word for "copy") Exzibit's character? Are you going to try to simulate this show? Are you going to send the trick to a workshop full of expert pimpers? That might make for some interesting props...just an idea. And it sounds like fun. If you do it, it will need to be character driven. I'm curious to know if you're using cards, coins, balloons, ropes, Volkswagons, chickens, coconut trees, etc.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |

C Christian makes a really good point!
This would obviously have to be something done for the 15-25 year old audiences. The concept would totally be lost on a younger or older crowd. If I told my mom for example that I was going to "Pimp My Magic Trick," she would more than likely question the legalities of such an action! :handcuffs: Lyndel |
