Currently I'm carrying "Florida Keys", two half dollars, a $2 bill and a BIC type pen.

You mention a party. It depends on the type of I'm event I'm invited to.
Often I bring nothing or the above.

On some occasions I'll bring some basics.

Quarter ].
IT or ITR.
"Ringer" or "Florida Keys".
TT.
"Kundalini" thingy.
Half dollar.
BIC type pen.
$2 bill.

For dinners I may add.
"Metalogic".
"Obedient Bill" aka self folding bill.

Ofrmagic...was wondering what kind of reception you get to using "The Yot" regularly. I can't seem to have much luck with mine as it appears I purchased one that is a lot easier to pop then most other people report..has been in my drawer for awhile now!

Silver chain for "Fast and Loose" and maybe some rubber bands for CMH. Otherwise I'm there for the party, I'm not there as a performer.

A rubber band or two around put around the wrist can doa lot for you.
Not to mention the effects that use both cards and rubberbands. Aldo Columbini has a set of notes on just that and the effects are pretty cool little visual pleasers.

I like the fast, visual mind boggling effect it has on spectators leaving them feel like they just got off a rollercoaster ride. That's why I never go anywhere without the "Cigarette Up The Nose" trick.

I always wear a finger-ring, and now have eleven tricks I can do with the ring alone. Then I always have a piece of ribbon in pocket (or shoelace) for a ring and string finish.

Then there are body tricks, which I have a nice set sequence off 12 tricks, and with that I don't need any props.

While I'm good at cards and rubber bands, I would never carry them with me to a party as it would seem too 'staged', and make me look geeky to be carrying such props around with me.
If asked, I would see if someone else has a pack, but never myself.
But to have a pack of cards in your pocket would look so nerdy, I'd be leaving that party alone, which would defeat the purpose of the party.

Steve

TT, Playing Cards, Double-Blank Cards, Sharpie, a few rubber bands, loops, a few coins, a bit of wax, and my Stealth Assasin Wallet with a chunk of business cards in. Maybe delights if I think it is going to be dark.
