Unless you are very new to the world of magic, the name Dean Dill is no doubt very familiar to you, and with good reason.

Dean has been doing magic longer than he can probably remember. Besides bringing wonder and amazement to lay audiences all over southern California (and beyond), Dean is also considered a Magician's magician by many in the industry.

A prolific inventor, Dean has created and marketed some of magic's most amazing close-up illusions, including such well known effects as Blizzard, Explosion and most recently Dean's Box. All of these have been terrific sellers, fooling some of magic's biggest stars along the way.

Though Dean prefers coin magic, he enjoys magic of all types when performed correctly, and in an entertaining manner.

A familiar face at conventions, Dean has lectured and performed internationally, and even appeared on The Tonight Show on NBC television.

Dean is often consulted by major stars, including Johnny Carson(an amateur magician) that Dean spent four years giving magic lessons too. When David Copperfield wanted to present the $100 Bill switch on one of his specials, it was Dean who taught David the effect.

When not doing magic, Dean can be found cutting hair in his small studio (located in Glendale California) simply called Dean's Shoppe. A favorite among locals, you can get the latest hair style and purchase a new magic effect all at the same time!

It must also be said that Dean is a family man, often taking wife Denise and son Jamie to magical functions and conventions, where magicians are always greeted with a warm smile from them both.

I am very excited to have Dean with us this week. He is a great guy, and I am proud to call him my friend.
