Does anyone remember this packet trick from Jerry Somerdin and marketed by Tannens?
It was a color changing effect from red to blue with a climax or 4 different beer logo cards at the end.....hense the name. I believe it was done with Fox Lake bridge size cards, and sold in the late 70's or early 80's. |

Yes, I have that trick and it still can be bought at http://www.daytonamagic.com I believe. It's a great trick for barhopping and it's so simple to do. It's on the same lines of Nick Trost's "Krazy Kardz" another of my favs.

As far as I know, he is. Last that I've heard, he lives in Lake Worth, Florida.

Good to hear, I used his you must have been drinking as well as his "ultimate card rise" years ago. UMHBD is a good packet effect. Worth checking out.

That sounds similar to "Flip Flop Cards" by Tyler Corbin. More info and a demo can be found here:

Mmmm, looks hauntingly similar to John Rogers effect on his site.
Also, I noticed an effect on there called reprint which looks like carrol bakers effect. Justin Miller |

Also sounds similar to "Mackenzie's Drink Trick" by Oliver Mackenzie (marketed by Davenports of London as "Tipsy Cards").

He has a version called "Playmates" in which the cards turn from red to blue & then as a kicker they turn into nudes. There is an appropriate patter that comes with the effect. Once you understand the sleights and the principle, the outcome can be different and with the imagination it can become versatile.

I just checked Daytona Magic's site....yep there it is revised, modernized, and now with Poker Bikes!
Probably the best $6 value in magic! |

I don't see it on the Daytona Magic website, it's probably discontinued.
Does anyone have a copy of the instructions I could purchase? |

Found this at another shop that still carries this...and I still needed one more of the beer cards so it worked out.

Just saw this post again, yes it's the Magic Gadget site that still carries this great packet trick. They mailed it out pretty quick. Two thumbs up for this place.
