Peter Loughran's Entity. It's $399 U.S., which wouldn't break the bank or anything, but I just can't justify the cost for something I probably would only use once or twice a year for friends and family.

Ron Reid,
Check out Steve Spill's "Grab and Stab". It's where Wayne borrowed the idea from (and admits it). Same trick, but WAY funnier. |

Gulp... I just realized my Stealth Assassin Wallet should be arriving next week. Now I'm going to need some credit cards to put in it.
It's a toss-up now ...assistant? ...credit cards? (I can't afford both) Ah-ha!! Does anybody want to buy a Blaney Stepladder Levitation?? |

I'd have to say a Blaney Ladder Suspension as well,
but I want the Silver Blaney Hoop to go with it! =frank=
The Early Bird may get the Worm, but it's the SECOND Mouse that gets the CHEESE!!!

Yepper. The Blaney Ladder Suspension gets my vote too. $15,365 includes all cases, stands, and Miracle Levitation Hoop.
Wrap it up, I'll take it!

Finally decided on one...it would have to be Steve Spill's/John Cornelius' "Voodoo Doll"...I'd LOVE to have one of those!

Maybe I'm thinking like a magician but, what's the big deal with electric touch? I would think "okay, he has some type of electric device on him." Electricty is far from magic. And Midas, are you kidding me?! Which hand is it in for 500.00? Maybe I'm not able to see the "unlimited possiblities" but you can perform much stronger mentalism with less apparatus. I would put a fancy holdout in this category too.
If it were me, I would buy a ton of books. Al Baker's and David Berglas. |

Just found this thread. Probably more appropriate than a dictionary would be ritalin.

Sheesh, when I first looked at this post, I swear I saw "Laney Bladder Suspension". Dyslexia is a terrible human tragedy, don't end up like me.

MagicalOdyssey,
Thought you asked for prices too? I see several that do not include this, but we probably cannot afford them anyway. Oh, and a dictionary costs different amounts depending on several factors $3.99-$45 hahahahah |

Years ago, I wanted to purchase the Origami illusion. Thought it was absolutely beautiful, but knew it was out of my price range. Over time, I decided it wouldn't fit in the style of magic I'm doing anyway.
To be honest, there aren't very many tricks I really want that are extermely pricey. I'm a simple guy, I guess. (Maybe something like a sub-trunk, but I've seen a place where I can buy the plans for $18 and make it for a whole lot less than a pre-assembled one would cost.) Then there are some books. The Art of Astonishment series by Paul Harris ($100-$140) is the first one that comes to mind. And if I could find The Secrets of Brother John Hamman (by Richard Kaufman) somewhere -- it's been out of print for a while, so I'm sure any copy I could find would be pretty expensive.

I'm pretty sure I can't afford "The disappearing Statue of Liberty" extortionate! PLUS you have to supply your own statue of liberty- nuts to that!
