I'm trying to practice the dribble force, and I'm having trouble stop[ing at the break, and if the break is to big, and just that area.
I have tried it with jogged cards but I have found that they crimp the cards, which I don't want. thanks for the help |

What do you mean by "and if the break is to big, and just that area?" That sentence makes no sense.
First of all, practice just dribbling the cards smoothly. Then you should start practicing it with a nice big break if you have to, until you get to where it's really easy. And go slow. When you've got it down with a big break, try reducing the size of the break. You have to do the dribble force to a spectator on your left side, because no amount of practice will make a thumb break totally invisible from your left. It's inherently angle sensitive, so you have to work with what it is. The dribble force is not a difficult move, so your problem might have to do with how you are dribbling the cards to begin with. There are two kinds of dribbling, basically. One is where you are just using gravity to dribble the cards down, and the other is where you bend the cards back a little and sort of spring it down. Don't do that, just use gravity. If you still can't get it, try posting a video of what you're doing, because it shouldn't be that hard. |

You always want to start out with a nice and big break in the cards, and be sure to practice in front of a mirror. You also want to fix your angle to where the spectater can't see your fingure there. Dribble the cards down nice and easy, and let gravity do its work. Be sure to watch the spectator's mouth the whole time. Be sure to drop them at the right time!
Hope I was helpfull, TheMagicalTurtle
