Just wondering if anyone uses this? It's described in Simply Simon. It's one of the few false riffle shuffles that I don't get totally frustrated with! I like it because it doesn't need to begin as a poker tabled riffle shuffle (i.e. first finger on top of talon, thumbs riffling up on inner corners, as in the Zarrow and many others). It also looks a lot cleaner than the Triumph shuffle.
My regular riffle shuffle, and those people who I know, almost always use more of an in-the-hands type riffle, with fingers at the far short ends of the talons, and thumbs in the middle of the inner short ends, then bridging to accomplish the riffle. The Aronson Stripout can easily be adapted to this mode. Anyway, just wondering who else has tried using this, experiences pro and con, and any tips you might have for improving the sleight. Thanks, Jack Shalom
