One problem I would like to solve would be the issue of classic palming the coin in a coins to glass routine. Could someone point me in the direction of a routine or have any ideas about showing the hand empty BEFORE it goes to the glass.
I've thought about some basic pinch/backclip moves/Ramsay. Is there a routine which shows the hand empty throughout? |

Shoot's is smooth and hands are shown empty throughout(heck I don't even think he's in Classic cept for a MP)
Of course his effect is coins penetrating in and out of glass, not of jumping invisibly through the air and whatnot.... |

And David Roth has a nice method for showing the hand empty while holding the glass.

There is some edge grip work on the coins to glass, and one routine which uses Roth's hanging coins moves followed by a drop FROM edge grip to manage the first coin.

I understand that you want to show the hand empty but it's really not necessary.
All they have to do is believe the hand is empty. Back Clips/Palms are good under the right conditions. Subtle gestures while in almost any palm side grip is usually convincing enough. There's always the possibility sleeves and steals such as used in Bobo's "Coin to Key". |

Rannie 'The Manila Enforcer' Raymundo has a nice routine of four coins to glass that could solve your palming problem.

Duplicate coins! Really vanish the 1st set. Then reproduce a second set. Use a spring cloths pin to hold the set in a hanky. The glass goes in the hanky and held by the 4 corners. Magic pass and you hear the coins arrive.
