Im looking to purchase the "Chinese Miser's Dream" Coins from Hocus-pocus.com. I see that there are two versions, the original and the "Improved" version that is about $50.00 more. Can anybody tell me the difference besides the Jumbo Coins having a "double-face". Personally, I wouldn't flash the back of a shell anyway, even with a double face. But I'm wondering if the quality of the shells and the fit is really better with the improved version.
Thanks! |

Don't know the difference, but I have the original and am willing to sell to you. PM me.

Don't know the two versions but I saw Henry Evans version at Blackpool with double sided shells and it was brilliant. That was selling at GBP 100.

I have sold both and the only difference is the double face feature of the 'improved'. It IS pretty cool, but if you don't plan on doing a flash of the other side then there is NO reason to get the more expensive one. Best,

I agree with Brad. I have the originals and I think they look great. I bought them through a Hocus Pocus clearance sale so I got them for a great price. I would like to see the new version but I'm not sure that I would buy them. Though you never know.
