Adam Grace on his DVD "Glass" has an effect aka Matrix with ink dots on a small glass that looks like real magic. And it's easy to do. Take a look, you might like.

I've seen the name come up a few times but not associated with the "right answer." Guess nobody has weem Kevin King saw a guy in half (yet). Watching it live, especially if you don't know the kind of people he associates with, looks about as magical (read spooky) as you can get.

Good topit work looks like real magic. Patrick Page, Bob Fitch, Michael Ammar and others have fried me terribly.

Not that I have it, but the Losander floating table as mentioned above looks amazing.
I really like Leaving Home by Jay Sankey, as a magician I don't think it looks like real magic, but from the spec's reactions I can see that it does Also the Mind Power Deck, and coin through bottle. |

The drawing board by Axtell Expressions always gets the best responses and looks the closest to real magic.
Scotch and Soda is good in my opinion, and when a Svengali deck all changes to one card.

The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.

Hey! I like doing the Botania for kids. Right after the appearing cane. Done to music, it's a lot of fast production right infront of their eyes and they love it.

Tommy Wonders Egg, lemon and Canary.
The way he vanishes the objects is the best thing I have ever seen. I'm still trying to figure it out 6 years on since I first seen him doing the act. Also his Ring Watch and wallet routine. |

I know it's been mentioned here before, but I had the pleasure of attending a Michael Ammar workshop a couple of weeks ago. He did his "Shawdow Coins" very close-up (I was standing less than 3 feet away). It was one the the most magical things I have ever seen!
