No need to be sorry. Some of my cryptic posts are meant to be enjoyed by readers AFTER they've discovered the answers. I should be apologizing to those who are annoyed by this strange habit of mine. Yes, I did have the answer (when you thought I was still stumped), but Magicjohn did solve it before I did. John was so fast...he posted the answer before I even saw the puzzle!! I had the advantage of knowing the answer before I even began to think about it. It still took a bit of thinking in order to figure out why "F" was the correct answer. Congratulations, Magicjohn. And thank you, Steve Martin. (Steve's "The Wrong Letter" still has me stumped. I thought you [Josh] had cracked it.) Stan Alger |
