I have recently aquired some "Screaming Rubber Chickens" like the one pictured here.
http://www.stupid.com/stat/CKSC.html

I had planned on juggling them like clubs. However, the necks are too soft and the body flops too much to make good throws. I am considering filling them with an expanding foam sealant which is available in hardware stores in a pressurized can.

If anyone has tried this, how did it work for you? Is it durable or will it break when dropped? I'm considering inserting a wooden dowl for extra rigidity.

Any constructive suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

I simply stuck a wooden dowel in them. It goes up one leg to the neck. That's all. You want them to be a bit floppy, hence the other leg not being solid or stuffed. People can't help but think it is an odd site.

Been overdone a lot before.

I just use one in my act, and if someone is heckling, I take the bird out and toss it and tell him I am flipping him/her the bird. A basically nice way to say **** ***! You can then put him into the act and make him have fun with it and you both win.

Now you are talking to a rubber chicken juggling expert. Put a thick dow down her throat, and screw a flat washer to the dow through her butt. Be careful with the foam because it expands quite quickly, so if you are not careful she will uncontrolabily vomit hot foam all over you, Not a pretty sight to see. She will then take the classic shape of a juggling club, and be pretty easy to juggle. Of course the foam will eventually get soft, and she will dry up, and crack in time. (just like us)
