Banachek's work can be found in his muscle reading book (a really useful addition to anyones library).

I'm very skeptical about determining one's star sign by examing their jaw and shoulders. Harry R, I would think your boss is eligible for Randi's million, if, of course, he can do it repeatedly under test conditions. How many times did you witness this? Was there anything else involved, like the spectator writing his sign down, or saying the signs out loud and watching for reactions?
Has anyone else heard of this--naming a star sign without any tricks--just by looking at the subject? Also, how would the month one is born affect their physical appearance? |

Doug D. knows his stuff! He should be listened to. Gary Kurtz also has published work on the "What's my Sign" concept, that is worth checking into

And he wasn't the kind of person that would have any interest at all in attempting to claim Randi's million. Mikael Eriksson raised an interesting idea near the beginning of this thread (nearly two years ago!) that many years ago it may have been possible to see a difference in a persons appearance depending on the season they were born, and thus the types of food available to them affecting their physical growth and developement in different ways.

I love using anagrams, but in the specific case on star signs, I have found that any women that follow the horoscope can tell the star sign of a person just by watching him/her for a minute, Maybe they are not 100% right, but they hit the mark with enough frequency to render the “feat” unimpressive. Just my two cents, |

For those of you who believe that there are people who can identify someone's star sign merely by loooking at them (at least most of the time), how do they do it? For example, what is visually unique about Leos?
Is this mystical or scientific? Also, so far this has been second hand. Are there any Café members who can do this (without fishing, a trick, etc.)? |

Reference to EMODE sign test. It should get 100% right. They ask you your birthday.
"Please tell us your birth date." Dont need to be much of a psychic to get that one right. |

By the way, a word of warning to anyone using the progressive anagram on Marc Paul's DVD (it may be based on one by TA Waters or Gary Kurtz, I'm not sure) - Pisces and Leo are annoyingly left out. you should however be able to implement them in and learn the system accordingly.
Just so you didn't find out the hard way. Scott. |

This effect can be a jaw dropper but sometimes somebody exposes it
What I am desperate for is an out or cover up when this happens What do you do or would do when somebody says That's easy, you're just going through the alphabet (Wrong but hard to deny) At present, I say Well you tell me what my sign is Does anybody know or can think of a stronger put down something real nasty or humorous? Let's see who can think of the nastiest or funniest? Or cleverest? LOL TJ |

Richard Webster's Mastering Cold Reading, volume 3 covers a little on being able to identify the star signs with no questions at all, you literally walk up to people and say "are you a virgo?" granted it is not 100% however if you work hard at it then it can be done I am sure.
I use Dream Signs and think the method is excellent, this is the one I will use. The reason is, the method outlined by Webster is not guarenteed at all. plus with Love's method you are able to draw the process to make it more presentational and it really looks asif you are reading their mind. I have very intense eyes and peopel often say that they could feel me pulling the thought from their brains through their eyes. A terrifying thought but if that's what they want to say then I am more than willing to go along with it. Kind thoughts, Kennedy
