Is possible to change a gimmicked fork for a normal one with the BW?
I think it is too big. |

Ideas:
A cool routine that must be great to adapt for Black Widow must be the old classic Chink-a-Chink. I think the the original idea is in Daley's notebooks. The great Fred Kaps did this routine flawless. The trick is also associated with the famous Max Malini. To perform and develop a Chink-a-Chink routine with SHIMMED sugar cubes, bottle caps, dice or coins must be a nice thing. Who will be the first to develop a Chink-a-Chink routine with SHIMMED objects? Is it possible to SHIM sugar cubes ? --- My next idea is to do a self-cutting key with black widow! Effect: Yo show a blank key. It has NO key pattern cut along its length. Put the key in the hand and with a wave w. your hands the blank key is now a key with patterns! Amazing effect. You will like this effect. Yo need one blank key plus one normal key with pattern. The blank key should be attract magnetic source...the routine is obvious. The inspiration came from an old routine: Mark Leveridge´s, Key-Volution (gimmicked keys w. a shell). Try this ! Yo can also shimm a passport photo and make small photo of your self change to something weird: famous face, younger face, horror face, etc... Have fun. |

An Impossible change. And, if you also "seal" both plastic holders it will look more impossible. Example. Put a white photo into a holder, seal it, change it to your passphoto sealed into a plastic holder and give it away as a gift. They will remember you for the rest of your life. Of course, you can use the plastic holder for coin effects too. |

Hi all.
For any of you who have heard that you need longer arms to use the black widow Hold-out. This is simply a myth! The Unit is adjustable to acustom you and your body. Plenty of help including tips on this short armed subject is available through the "Tips from the creator" of the owners area of the black widow forum. http://www.theblackwidow.ca Tips will come from serious users of the black widow system and myself to assist you. Access to the owners area is granted upon recieving your Black widow system. Hope this clears things up for all you short armed individuals. Thanks. Darryl |

Suprisingly, I bought BW for more than 2 weeks now. I emailed Doryl(?) for the password and I still have no reply yet. SO I can't access the forum yet!
Well, hopes that he will reply soon. |

My Lord! Two BW's and a set of cups and balls. I haven't slept in 2 days now, ok maybe a nap or 2. This is probally the best investment I've made in magic in a long time, ok maybe not the best, best would still be my kids
You can do some pretty amazing add-ons to the cups and balls with 2 of the pups! Jake

Time to weigh in. I recently purchased the BW. Very well made, thoughtful construction. I am left handed and appreciate no adjusment needed <smile>. With practice this will add to my routines. I work with Kennedy 1/2's (shells, shims, etc.)...and the BW has "added" more possibilities. Looking forward to creative practice. Thank you. Wish the best. bill

I read on a non english magic forum that a magician had tried to do the Haunted Deck with Black Widow: he used shimmed cards for that experiment...

I am very interested in this thing for one of my routines, so I ask.....coould you vanish a watch with it?

Hi Arthur,
It would depend on what type of watch you want to vanish. A pocket watch, without a chain or fob, could probably be vainished without any trouble (depending on the weight of the watch). A wrist watch would be more problematic; the band may pose some problem as the ends may flop around during the vanish and may end up catching on your cuff and become exposed. You must also realize the m***et may cause some damage to the watch as well. Hope this helps. Regards, Steve

Yes, Why not? This can be very easy & simple. If it’s a borrowed watch, avoid the expensive ones. BW is a very versatile prop. Anything is possible – Imagination is the limit!!
Please read the above pros & cons by Yachanin.

I have read through almost all of the these pages and my eyes are getting tired.LOL I have a couple of questions before dropping 250 bucks on this. First Can I use it to switch a triple treat out? Also is it possible to use it to switch with more than one coin? Like a multi production or something like that. I am more interested in using it with the triple threat if that will work....
Thanks in advance |
