Effect & description: The folding coin has been with us for hundreds of years. Porper brings this effect, the coin in bottle and/or the coin through ring into modern times with a beautiful folding chip. As you can see by the photo there is NO EDGE GROOVE. The chip folds small enough to pass into a glass or plastic bottle or through a ring.

Joe's goal was to create a folding chip with no visible lines or edge cuts. He accomplished it using his original "inner mechanism," something which has never been done before.
Fabricated from real Poker chips, just about any routine that can be done with a Folding Coin can be done with the Folding Poker Chip. Effects like Chip Thru Ring, Chip In Bottle and others. As with all of Joe's items, the quality of workmanship is beyond excellent!

This is another updated version of a classic magical effect, only using a genuine casino poker style chip in place of the standard quarter or half dollar coin. This in itself is pretty unique and presents a couple advantages over using the typical gaffed coins that have been generally available over the years.

For starters, no worries as to whether someone is going to hand you an old style quarter, or one of the modern state quarters. Add to that, even those few who may know about a folding coin (courtesy of their local fair magic booth or Johnson Smith catalog), few will ever suspect or even consider the idea of an actual folding Poker chip.

You receive a two page booklet of instructions containing 11 full color photgraphs, a simple ring penetration routine and some good tips about doing the famous coin in bottle, only this time you will use a casino chip. You also receive a precision crafted gimmicked poker chip and an ungaffed chip too match. Made using the standard Joe Porper high standards of manufacturing, this will last practically forever. Handled properly it is unlikely that the band will ever break. But, should this rare event occur, Joe even includes instructions for replacing the inner band - nice.

Like Joe's Poker Chip Surprise, Silent Sliding Casino Chip and Sneaky Pete's Pivoting Shell, this trick makes use of modern props and is manufactured by one of the finest craftsman in magic. You simply can't go wrong here. My highest recommendation!
