Is the M5 really worth buying? doesn't it have the same principles as the Raven? Please let me know... because if it is worth buying then I might get it (not 100% though).

The raven is used to strictly vanish an object like a coin. The M5 can be used to make a vanish, however, it can be used for other effects as well. You can do more things with the M5, but it's a lot more expensive too.

As I understand it, the M5 is more related to "the Bat" then the "Raven"... The main difference being the strengh of the gimmick... Personnaly, I have a Raven, but no Bats or M5...

The m5 is something very different than the raven, it has very useful applications. is one of those accesories that can go a long way and you can integrate it to many other effects, not just a trick in itself.

The M5 is stronger than a Raven.
you can use the Raven to vanish a whole lot of stuff.same thing you can accomplish with the M5. you can use the M5 for PK effects as well as it is much stronger than the Raven. read the description of the effects you can accomplish at some magic shop and if you think that they suit your need then gert the M5. good luck -Matt

Midwest - the M5 has been released by Chazpro magic and ellusionist, both of which are excpencive. The main gimmick can be purchased from various suppliers at a much lower cost. if you know what the gimmick is, then just do a search on ebay and you should find something. Also try a google search.

The M5 allows much more than the raven (I don't like the raven much I admit ^^; ) but as Brian says, if you know what the gimmick is you could buy it for much cheaper...

Hehe. Reading this and other threads, it seems like everyone is being careful not to reveal what any of these devices really do. Much like the web site (ellusionist). Reading about these gadgets is very much like reading those ads for amazing mail order things you could send away for that I remember from being a kid. "Actually become invisible and fly. Only $1.99".
I can appreciate the interest in keeping stuff a secret. But selling something for $88.95 without really explaining what it is seems a bit cheesy. Even though it really appears sort of obvious when looking at the demo video on the page. I'm sure it is fun though. "Actually stop someones pacemaker for only $88.95". Personally I think it would be cooler to rig up something from scratch. Oh I don't know. Only ranting.
