Thick stock? I'm no card mechanic, but I thought thin stock was generally considered easier to work with? I know back-palming is easier with thin cards.

Gotta love that eagle Ace of Spades design, though. Smile

I hope that a deck will fit my Porper. I prefer thicker stock, but some of those specialty cards form Ellusionist won't fit my Porper and that is an issue with me. I love that Ace of Spades design also. At $3.99 a pop, they're within my budget.
They will release more info when the time has come I'm presuming.

I'm not that sure...yet. They do say they're the best "standard" Bicycle deck ever made, so that implies they're Bikes like any other, just on different card stock perhaps. The only difference they actually mention is a new Ace of Spades design.

I'm not one for "non-standard design" decks, but that eagle logo they have on the ad would have looked really nice incorporated into the backs of the cards. Right now, just for sheer attractiveness I like the backs of the Blaine Split Spade decks.

I think they are quite expensive Smile You get the double anmount of decks normal bikes for that prices.

It looks like a Gaff Deck is being made for this deck too.

Looks like the Gaff deck will come with a 'dead eagle' card. I can see people getting quite a bit of use from that card.

Their cheapest deck in a while! Looks pretty cool though!

I am guessing that the thicker stock is an attempt to make the deck feel like the legendary "Jerry's Nugget" decks.

I second your oppinion man.
if they would feel like the nuggets they would be a big seller.
I know I'd buy a lot of 'em Smile

Deck of 52 gaffs for $24.95? A bit more than CAJ, but an extremely reasonable price for Ellusionist. I assume these will be the same thickness as the new red deck, but will probably work well enough with standard Bicycle reds.

Will wait to see before judging. If anything like past offerings from ellusionist it may be worth looking into

Hmm,I will have to check them out. Only 3 bucks a deck! Heck, that's better than normal bikes, and these are apparently better!
So they have a normal red back, but new box, and ace of spades design?
Hmm, on second thought, at the price of these, maybe I should get a whack of them...

4 bucks my friend. and the is almost twice as much as normal bikes which is quite expensive if you see it from this angle.

Ok, yes, 4 bucks, my mistake.
Down here they go for about 5-6 dollars a pack. How much are they down where you are?
that's why I get them in bulk. Its cheaper that way, (And I also go through cards like a pig)
I will give these a try though.
I definatley don't think I will stick to them though. It is just too much of a hastle to order them. (But then again, its better than a 45 min. drive...)

Here's some more info about the Masters Deck...

We've been asked time and again by a lot of card guys to create a normal Bicycle deck that had the high quality features of our Ghost and Bicycle Tiger decks.

That's what we did.

It's a simple deck that reflects the normal red Bike deck. It won't draw extra suspicion, but it will still give the same fanning power and long lasting durability as our other exclusive decks.

We chose red to start off because more people buy red than blue, it's a fact. We'll most likely do a blue version soon as well so that people have their choice.

The deck has the Ellusionist UV500 Air-Flow Finish. It has the thick, casino grade stock which is the exact same as Jerry's Nuggets AND the Ghost, Tiger and Viper decks. This is high quality stock designed to last a long time.

Since we had the chance we redesigned the Bicycle Ace of Spades at the same time. Why not? We weren't crazy about the old Bike ace anyway and the Ace of Spades is what makes you feel good when you are handling a deck (at least it does with me)... I much prefer a beautiful, striking Ace of Spades when performing.

Then, we wanted to keep the price down as much as we could to make a high quality deck affordable. Given that the deck lasts so much longer than a normal Bike deck, it's simply a great price point.

That's the scoop - hope that sheds some light.

It has nothing to do with the new red GAFF Deck coming in early-mid July... that's another product, but one you could use with the Masters Deck as well.

Thanks for the post, Brad. Are the new red gaffes on the thicker stock too, then?
