I have just bought two large costumes, one an owl and the other a dragon, to appear with me at my corporate walkaround gigs.

Does anyone know the British regulations on these? IE: what is the maximum length of time the actor can be in the costume before needing a break and how long cooling down time is needed? I know these rules exist, but can't find any info on the net.

Have done costume character work for some time, but as it won't be me inside the costumes, I don't want to get caught out.

Here's the DISNEY REGULATIONS:

It is usually a half hour on, half hour off; if you are outside when weather gets to about 85 or 90, it is cut down by 10 minutes. Or course if it rains, you are off set. Inside, it is about a 40 minute set with air conditioning.
