NEW VIDEO: Bozo, Barbies, Rifles & Doll Houses!!!!

OK so last week, I promised new video.
Actually, when I posted the first magic
video of dad performing the Kuma Tubes,
a bunch of people asked to see the second
part with the rifles, barbies, and dollhouses.


Finally I got it uploaded yesterday. After having
tons of issues.

This particular video is also from the canister of
16mm film from Bozo Circus (c.1960's) we came across.
long ago and far away.

You can tell approximately when this was filmed
because Bozo is wearing a red costume
not blue. Jack Foley is the stage hand, and the albright
twins were working the illusion. Dad is wearing one
of the Okito costumes that was chosen for him by Theo.
Absolutely a beautiful piece of tapestry if you ever
seen it upclose. Still is after a century.

The doll house is one my father built. One of two,
this being the oldest...

Here's some more interesting backstory:

This is the same doll house that he performed at the
Columbus Magicfest with Jay Marshall. Where he came
out dressing in drag. It won them the award for whatever it is was for.

Now think about it...This isn't that large of a doll house.
Yet it has a huge stuffed dog, and Jay is 6+ feet tall.
Plus he's in a dress and heels probably.

Yeah, thinkg about it.

I'm still waiting for a friend to search photographic records
for this photo. I am sure Irving Desfor took it. He took
a ton of photos over his career. Some great ones are in his
book, um, I forgot the name of it. We have a signed copy
in our library with the letter. and sctuff.

I have been LOVING this thread and all of the videos you've posted. Any thoughts about releasing the material on a DVD? You could even have a special edition, including a "Best of..." CD of your music.

I thought about it, but I don't need my ass sued on
the video part. I wouldn't know where to begin...
espcially on the clips from bozo. the other stuff
wouldn't be a problem.

I wouldn't even know what would be considered the
"best of..." to make a "best of ..." CD. I might
need your help on that one.

I think for now, having the clips available, even
if you can 'own' them at the your finger tips is
nice. At least you view them when you want...
that is, if you have anything better than dial-up.

Glad you're loving it. Makes me feel good to impart
stuff like this. Unless you came to our house, no
one else would be seeing if this, If I didn't upload
it.

I'll have to figure out what I can put up next.
