WOW is all I am allowed to say about Steve Axtell New Product he will be releasing in the next few days.

Steve asked me to review a new product he will be releasing at Vent Haven next week. It is a product I immediately asked him to put aside one for me, because I think he will sell out of that product at Vent Haven. I sure hope he makes enough for the KIDabra Conference next month.

This I can tell you, anyone can do it immediately, it is not a 'vent' routine, it is not a 'Magic Trick' but it will create a lot of comedy, laughter, noise, and excitement, in your magic show. This is definitely something useful for any kidshow. I especially like it for a warm-up routine to set the tone and enthusiasm for the magic show.

After Steve releases it, I will tell you more about it.

On the axtell site they refer to it as the MYSTERY PRODUCT, adn they mention it will cost around $200

I saw it. I saw it demonstrated. I was laughing and realizing in the same moment that I knew I would order one (the price could easily be raised on this prop, it's worth every....EVERY...penny! And no, I'm not on the Axtell payroll. I love Steve's work (yes, it's ART!) And even if he had'nt produced this, I would still say this about it!)
When you see the "kicker" or "finale" at the end, your jaw may drop like mine...and then my head began to swim with possibilities!!!!!!!
I'm down for one already, and I have'nt even told my wife! (yes, I fear and love her right under my fear and love for God!)
I instantly knew when I saw it that it was PERFECT for ALL MY SHOWS!
Get in line, it'll be like waiting for Disneyland's Best Ride in July!
Chris
PS> The greatest realization I had when I saw this was the potential it has to build up a "rebooking frenzy" at the end of your show. And that it will pay for itself literally after I use it the first time many, many times over!
As I said, better get in line!

I got it!

For Them Feet!

no... that can't be it. How about:

Tree Them Off

nope- that probably isn't it... how about:

Met The Offer

or

The "ME" Effort

no- those can't be right.

Darn you Dennis, now I will be going nuts over this one

Chris,

You said it can be used at the end.

I immediately rewrote my begining warm-up routine to get the kids "in the mood" for the "Abracadabra Magic Show" that will be coming after performing this routine.. It fit perfectly. Steve loved the routine and asked if he could use it. Of course he and other can use it.

I too can see the potential for a frenzy at the end of the show. If it's a school show, I would not send them back to class after this routine. I would need to quiet them down.

Steve did say he might keep a "low profile" until KIDabra and make KIDabra the official launch date, however, he is releasing it to the Vent Haven crowd. Hopefully there will not be to much crossover and blow this secret.

Like Chance Wolf products, this one too will be an immediate sell-out to the performing pros, and it's priced right.

If you're good! This is not a hard secret. I immediately found it and I'm pretty good with computers. If you do find it please don't post the link. Email me or email Steve if you are going to pre-order it. He said on his Mystery Product site he was going to make a batch of ten.. I know all ten of them are going by now with those he asked to review this "Mystery Product" bought it or ordered it!

I agree with the end bit about not getting them riled up, Dennis. COMPLETELY! Keep in mind that I would use it as a catharsus for their energy, and then redirect them (in a way I won't give away here because it's one of my best kept secrets!) to "settle down".
I could'nt get your word puzzle, either, and it was driving me batty! I would'nt stand a chance on "Wheel of Fortune" would I?
I"m on the list for this...can't wait to get it!!!!!!

I agree - I love my Axtell drawing board so much that Steve could burn my house down and I'd still be grateful to him - but this is an unforgivably cruel tease.

WayneNZ,
You're kidding about this being the only place to find all the hype, right?
I worked in the Fine Arts and Radio industry for years...believe me, the Magic World does'nt know the meaning of the word "hype" the way the other two worlds I mentioned do. Then there's Sports....not to mention Television in general. I'd mention the motion picture industry but I love them too much...
I won't post a link because I promised not to give "big hints" that could give it away.
KIDabra isn't far away...
Just tuck some money away for this and trust...

Dan,
Email Steve Axtell at steve@axtell.com and ask for the MYSTERY PRODUCT.

Marvello,
You are SOOOOO close.

Wayne,
Rignt now, there are only 12 made, but Steve is working on making 100 total for KIDabra next month.

Because its only a few days away from Vent Haven, and you do seem excited about this. Here's a hint: It's something you can do to get the kids excited about seeing your magic show, or it's something you can use to measure how well they liked the magic show at the end of your show letting the customer know it was a good show, but not doing both in the same show.

I Hope I'm not over stepping my "keep it a secret" by the above hint.
Dennis

WHHOOOAAA!!!!! What's happening? My email box is filling up with requests...please contact my customer service manager Betsy to get on the list. I am leaving for the first convention now and cannot answer all the emails!

Betsy's phone is (805) 642-7282
Her email is order@axtell.com

Please email Betsy to pre-order the mystery product. I'll announce this product soon...I'm working on the webpage and ideas. I am not keeping a list myself....only Betsy does that.

The product takes time to make and you know our quality so they will be awesome when you get yours. It will be a few weeks for the next big batch of them, but it's worth the wait if you trust me. Thanks for your patience!!!

Ya know somethin'? I'm in my 10th year of performing. (I realize that still makes me a 'newbie' to many of you.) I have found it to be my experience that when a product is getting this kind of coverage and being tauted as a 'must-have item' that it is something I must NOT buy. I'm sure that all of you have, as I do, a closet full of 'impulse-bought', 'must-have' items that were played with a time or two and then put away to for 'future use' or to be 'put in my next/new show'.

A little realism here, and forgive me if I seem to be trashing Axtell, for that is not my intent. I use several of his products in different shows. I just want to reiterate (for it has been mentioned before by many masters of the art) that the best thing for your show can not be found in a catalog. The best thing for your show must come from within you. That toy on the shelf won't make you a better performer.

So, look at the items on the shelf, consider their purpose and then ask the 5 "w"'s. After you have sufficiently answered them, consider that you may be able to create the same effect by either using a prop you already own or by building one yourself.

Generally I agree with what you are saying. No prop will make you a better performer - but a good performer knows how to get the most out of a strong routine. This is a strong prop with the possibilty of many different routines/uses. Not to add to the pre-hype, but I have finally seen the product, and it is great. I wrote to Axtell products and requested that my name be on the pre-order list, also. As far as making your own - that is up to you, but remember that stealing routines/props/ideas is considered unethical, and I also doubt that you could make anything on your own that will live up to the same quality as Axtell products.

Thanks Den. I got it and figured it out.

I do not want to type it here unless you want me to out of courtesy of Steve Axtell. I sort of had it figured out from the start but was not sure I was right. I know I am right now as your last clue confirmed it for me. It sort of what I thiought it would be and if it is like any of Steve's products, it should be amazing.

Wes, of course you're not trashing me...you've been a good customer for years, you use a lot of our products. I have a closet full of magic myself.... and a lot of my energy to make good quality products comes from that closet. I see all the good ideas, but poorly made junk I've bought over the years and we strive to make Axtell products the best they can be. Okay...I'd love to get your input on this one. You'll be my last "reveal" before I leave for this convention trip.... see private email.

If I ask my woodworking friend to custom create a set of cups and balls for me, is that unethical? If I choose to create/copy an item for my own personal use, that is not unethical.
Please understand that my point is it may be possible to obtain the same effect/audience reaction by either reusing an existing prop or creating something on your own.

Steve & friends,
Thank you for trusting me with your secret. My opinion is that it appears to be a quality made item worthy of the Axtell brand. I predict many people will buy it, use it and be happy with it. I agree with others that the uses of this prop is limited only by one's imagination.

Does this contradict what I previously posted? No. There are many great effects/props out there that do not fit my act/persona. I haven't ruled out ordering this, but I will need to give it more thought.

Steve, I will always be interested in seeing what you come up with!

Glod,

I would love to go to Vent Haven, I'm not a vent, but I love watching it just as much as I love magic. It's one of those conventions that comes near me I won't miss, however, I am saving all my money for the KIDabra Conference.

Wes,

You're right about a room full of magic. It would take me a lifetime to use what I already have. However, this product acts as a better addition to the routine I already do. I loved it and it has such a better ending, it sets th stage for what I do. I'm glad you got to see it. Yes, I bought a lot on impulse, this was not impulse. I really want to use it. Do I NEED it, NO because I already do it with another prop. However, can this prop replace that prop with making my show a little better. Absolutely, and that is the reason I ordered it.
