I am actually looking for a comparison of the two.
They seem to be near identical products, I am curious about how much comes with each, and I guess the quality of the product? I am hard pressed to call one a rip-off of the other as they are basically just the same substance, something that is a basic chemical. But that is not the topic though, as I am looking for a comparison of the two. Thanks. GDW

Little smoke looks like real smoke. It's a chemical that transforms into smoke when you rub your fingers.

I don't know the product "Magic Smoke" but I did try "Little Smoke." For me "Little Smoke" was a failure. There is very little smoke and the messy chemical (ugggg)--I quickly identified this as waste basket material (not even that dusty drawer). Having said that, I know that some people have written in previous threads that they use it but I don't know how.
There are lots of previous threads on various smoke products--just do an advanced search on Little Smoke and check the button on "exact phrase" Arnie

I have checked out the other reviews, and the thig is they seem like the same product. I am mostly wondering if there is a difference in amout supplied, or even the quality of what is supplied.

I met the creator: this is the same product, only the name has changed for dark commercial reasons..
The effect is beautifull IMO but it will easily be analysed as a chemical effect in spectator's mind (except for the chidrens). "Very little smoke" would be the perfect name as the amount of smoke produced is rather small. |

I got this now, and I do rather like it, I find the amounts of smoke possible is perfect for me, but does anyone else have trouble getting it all to burn when preping?

I haven't seen these products, but from the copy this reminds me of the "Mystic Smoke from Finger Tips" gag that they sell, but a lot more expensive.

No, it's not that. That stuff was horrendous and stunk. Although little and magic smoke do produce a slight smell, it is nothing that is noticable to the audience.
More notiible to you if you put ur fingers right under ur nose, and still just smells like when you light a match.

I keep it in a metal container, or even just on a spoon with my magic stuff, and in going to get a deck or something I am set. Use it and then go right on with the next piece. For me I find this far more practical then one of the "up the sleeve" smoke delivery systems.

I bought this stuff several months ago, but for some reason could never get it to work. No smoke whatsoever. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
If you claimed to have stopped time, I would ask you for how long you stopped it.

Does anyone know a cheaper way to produce smoke without all the mess? and does not cost your money to go up in smoke as well? most of the good ones cost $100 or more.

From what I read there is not much out there if your looking for smoke. I saw only a few items. The real good ones causes your wallet to go up in smoke. Guess I will forget smoke for now...However, If someone knows a product, let me know, I am on the look out for something to fill this gap.

Generally you can get the same effect by tearing the striker portions off of matchboxs or matchbooks, and scarping the stuff off them.
By the time you go through all that mess and trouble though, and the expense (even though matches are cheap, you're only using the strikers remember), you'd be better of buying Magic Smoke or Little Smoke. Do not confuse these two products with "Mystic Smoke", which is a cheap gag item that's been around for years, it's not the same. Additionally, Magic Smoke and Little Smoke have a really neat side benefit, one that I think possibly outshadows the smoke aspect of the effect - when you rub your fingers to create the smoke, it also creates in your hand an electro-luminescense that it just too cool for words.
Just hanging out with the rest of my fellow dregs.
