I just got high speed internet (I know, it's about time!) and found this video clip on youtube. Sorry if this has already been posted here, I'm not sure if it has or not but it's worth a look! Very funny stuff. One might call it "Magic with Everyday Objects!" Here's the link:

I really like that clip. He captures a lot of the looks and poses real stage magicians use. The guy who's acting like an idiot is really quite clever, at least he is if he came up with that concept on his own.
The same idea is on David Copperfield's "Illusions" DVD. It's a funny skit from The Late Night with Conan O'Brien television show where a David Copperfield look-alike does similar silly fake magic tricks. It has a better ending than that video.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.

Copperfield actually showed that video in his stage show. Anybody have a link to it, I'd like to see it again.

Here's the Copperfield parody video. The quality isn't too good, but it's something.

I've come across that one on youtube before. David does show a similar video in his show but I don't think it is that exact video...

I posted thi on another thread but here it is again:
<The magician featured in the spots is Daniel Chesterfield, a character created by Chris Van den Durpel, a celebrated Belgian comedian. The character of Chesterfield pokes fun at the overtly dramatic performances of professional magicians. He is frequently featured on Van den Durpel’s TV show “Chris & co.” in Belgium. More information on the comedian is available at http://www.chrisenco.be.> I was told that the Character was Named DAVID, however it looks as thogh he goes by DANIEL. Perhaps Daniel is Belgium for David? Anyone know? =Frank=
