I'm talking about organization of sources and information about our beloved topic.
The sources and info about stacked/memorized decks are quite messed up and spread throughout many books and videos. Not only are they messed up between each other (different stacking systems), they're also messed up between themselves (for exmple - the Aronson stack has many parts written on it in different books and booklets). Please help me gather all those sources so I ,and everyone else, can be more organized and feel comfortable learning them. Here are the ones I know of (please add to list) : Mnemonica - I know only of the book. The Aronson Stack - Memories Are Made Of This, Try the Impossible, Magician Makes Good. Nikola - Encyclopedia of Card Tricks Breakthrough Card System - I know only of the booklet. Si Stebbins - Card Tricks, Corinda step 3. Joyal - ? misc. - Doug MacGeorge, Lew Brooks... Thanks |

Laban,
I can add a couple. There are at least five info sources for THE BREAKTHROUGH CARD SYSTEM. There is the PDF, as you mentioned. There's also THE MEMORIZED BREAKTHROUGH CARD SYSTEM, another PDF (since the BCS isn't a memorized deck, but the "memorized" version is). There's the MIND MYSTERIES DVD Volume 2 (completely devoted to the BCS) and the MIND MYSTERIES GUIDEBOOK #2 (a companion volume to the MIND MYSTERIES DVD Vol. 2). Lastly, there's Richard's online blog, which contains some effects and thoughts not found in any of the other sources. Speaking of online sources, Simon Aronson's website has the same thing: a whole list of effects, thoughts, and angles about his stack that aren't published anywhere else. --Josh |

You'll find a complete bibliography about the mem deck in J Tamariz Mnemonica, with historical information.

Scott Cram is the go-to Café guy for this. He's very nice and super organized and if you send him a PM, there's a good chance he'll send you his list of memory effects and where to find them. (Not all mem deck effects, but many are).
