Anyone know of a large deck of cards? I want a large deck to use with Osterlind's Ultimate Matrix routine but so far, the jumbo decks I've found have been around 5" x 7"

Hi John,
I have not seen any larger than that. You might check with Denny Haney (dennymagic.com) or another dealer to see if they have any ideas. He has usually been able to help me with things. You could also check with one of the card makers to see if they can help. You can email "Cards By Martin" at cardsbymartin2@juno.com or call 661-948-1315. You could also contact http://www.kardwell.com or http://www.customplayingcards.com. They all specialize in custom cards and might be able to help. I'd be interested to know what you ultimately find out. Good luck. Mark. |

I also saw the deck that corpmagi describes (also at Ton Onosaka's Magicland). At the time I could only regard them fondly, as a novelty, but they were certainly BIG. If interested you can try e-mailing Onosaka-san at magic@magicland.jp .
Best of luck! |

I was in Spencer Gifts (a popular mall store) recently, and they had giant decks, 11x8, for $15.

I just bought a deck of "Giant Playing Cards" by Britannia Games for 2000 yen ($17 U.S.?).
They're about 11" by 15". I see they cost about twice that on Amazon U.K. |

The Gambler's General Store in Las Vegas has a wide variety of playing card sizes. I purchased Giant deck there about six months ago.

Still wondering what to do with it. Has pips on all 4 corners heh.

If you want cards with huge indices, yet aren't too unwieldy, try the Anglo cards from El Duco. They're good for use in a 1,000 seat auditorium.

If you just need a few jumbo cards you can go to Kinkos and have them make color copies (almost any size) and have them mounted on cover stock. I have also gone the next level and have them laminated, and if you are wondering...yes then can be roughed.

That back design looks familiar. Does it match any of the commonly-available decks?

I got them at a place called Spencers.
They have the 8082 Bicycle decks there, but they are $19.99 heh!

The Gambler's General Store has the Big Bikes (8082's) for $11.95 a deck - best price I've been able to find.
http://www.gamblersgeneralstore.com/cata......_id/2832 Kardwell also sells a Bicycle-backed deck for around $50, but I DON'T recommend it: (1) The finish is very matte ... a far cry from real Bikes (2) The faces aren't Bicycle (different court cards, Ace of Spades, etc.) (3) The box is cheap and only features the Bike back (the front is different) For the quality and money, the Colossals are the way to go. If anyone has found Bikes in that size, I'd love to hear about it! |

Hey, everyone...
I found that GreatBigStuff is currently selling big Bicycle decks (approx. 5" x 7") for the sale price of only $9.82 per deck. The web site says back colors may vary, and each deck includes 52 cards + 2 jokers. Here's the link: http://www.greatbigstuff.com/cards.html |
