Don't blame Harry for that one. It was not representative of himn or his performances.
Never criticize someone else until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Then, when you do criticize them, you will be a mile away from them and you will have their shoes.

That was pretty bad. Looked like the girl got stuck in the elevator! He was good not to loose his compossure though and kept a smile on his face even when the girl did not.

Every magician will experience that one show where goes horribly wrong.
And every magician, hopefully, learns more than he ever will from that one show alone. God knows I have.

Just one of those days where very few things went right.
The show must go on. |

My friend was the official photographer for the venue (this was WAY before digital) and he shot a picture of him at the beginning of the show, ran off and developed the negative, made a print and brought it back before the show was over so I could have Harry sign it. When I handed it to him, he said "Where did you get this?!" I thought that was a pretty neat trick. |

That's why you always want to get the sexiest female assistants humanly possible.

Well I'm sure it's not entirely his fault, but even if everything would have technically gone well, that would have been about the corniest representation of "magic" I've ever seen.
If the giant card boxes had opened, what would have been even mildly impressive about it? It's not like they were ever shown empty. And that cabinet rising up gave a bit too much away about where the girl came from. Oh well, I'm sure some would have liked it. To each his own. -Xtian

I felt for him, because I too have had performces where ALL the rehearsals in the world did not stop the " magic gremlins" from making a total "arse" of me.
Some things are just FATE, I suppose. maybe intended by a higher power to keep us 'umble?
The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.

It reminds me of the time my floating rose fell in mid flight....and swung down the floor at the bottom of the table. Classy...

I've seen that clip, and the worst part about it to me is that it seems to be the Blackstone's sole representation on YouTube. Can't someone put up a few moments that went right?
