I've seen quite a few posts about Christmas lists recently and was wondering what people got (magic related) for Christmas. If you care to share, please jump in.

I got some incredible Lassen coins that were delivered on the 24th. The guy is amazing!

Hi,
I didn't have anything magic-related on my list, but I did pick up several decks of cards while shopping. None of the books that have been mentioned on this board were found, so I still have a little more shopping to do. I did manage to order a
"pen-thru-dollar" trick, and a few other things. Smile

Hi William,

I followed your advice (thank you Smile ) in giving Frank from pastamagic a shout and, as a result, Santa is on his way with the Bill Malone DVD-set...

Well, I didn't have anything magic on my list either, but my wife purchased for me...
Impossible Matrix, Healed and Sealed, The Raven, and Scotch and Soda. These are a little gimmick heavy, but oh well. She liked the descriptions of these tricks she read on the internet! I'm certainly not complaining.

Hope you've all had a safe and happy holiday.

I got Art of Astonishment 2 and 3. I guess I'll have to track down vol.1 myself. Oh, and my girlfriend gave me Goshman 3D sponge bunnies. The bunnies are her favorite trick that I do, but up till now I had used the 2D Adams version. It served me well for the past couple years, but I guess it was due for an upgrdade.

I got 'Try The Impossible' by Simon Aronson. It's a great, easy to perform card tricks that plays big. I also got 2 copies of David Blaine's new book, (keep your eyes peeled on ebay). I haven't yet finished it but so far it's quite good.

I consider myself very lucky this Christmas. I scored big time, way beyond what I expected. This was the best Christmas haul I’ve had as an adult. All these gifts felt like toys from my youth and made me forget about the world’s troubles for awhile.

Anyway here is what I got...

Books:
Scams & Fantasies by Darwin Ortiz
The Annotated Erdnase also by Darwin Ortiz

DVD’s
Max Maven’s Video Mind Volume (or phase) 2
Sankey’s Secret Files Volumes 1 & 2

Tricks:
Blizzard Dean Dill
Deep Astonishment by Paul Harris
Daryl’s Ultimate Ambition by Daryl Martinez of course! My girlfriend went to the local magic store and bought this for me after seeing Daryl’s Ambitious Card routine on his DVD. It floored her. I was floored on Christmas day to peel back the gift wrap to reveal this trick!

I’m still very pleased with these gifts!

I'm going to treat myself to Small But Deadly in the next few weeks I hope!!! Smile

My wonderful wife sent me shopping. I picked up:

- Ammar Topit pattern.

- Multiplying Golf Balls.
- Martin Lewis' lecture notes. (The one with Cardiographic, and what I consider to be a hidden gem...the technicolor pencils.
- Bobo coin book. Softcover, but it's great!
