What about building a Flea Circus? No-one tried to do it? Are there any books (excepted for Tom Palmer's "The Complete Flea Act", that I'm waiting from my postmaster) that explains how to build some "flea-props"? Any suggestions about it? Please answer me! I'm an Italian magician, and I think that no-one in Italy is actually doing a Flea Circus Act... Can someone tell me that's a lie?

The Flea Circus was invented in Italy, during the time of the Romans. Gracius Maximus built a little Colosseum for them to perform in. The emperor Nero had him arrested and thrown to the lions, who inherited his fleas. And that's where the lion dance came from. No lyin'.

Talk to Paul Osborne. You can get email to him through his website..

I used to perform his flea circus in amusmement park shows... They're not real fleas.. but it's a funny 10 min show..

If I have the script still (and I doubt I do) I'll send you one..

Walt Noonan has a very good video and instructions, as well as supplying parts for the DIYer's. He also, last I heard, would do custom build flea Circuses.

I think he may well be your best resource, unless you want to do this with real fleas, then he might be a helpful guide!!!

I take it you did NOT go to Walt's site and look at it very closely!
While he does provide the history of the actual use of the fleas, his creations are rather blood suckingly free. AND his instructions will tell YOU how to create a flea free flea circus!

I bought Walt Noon's DVD recently which shows how to build a flea circus - I recommend it highly! _ Haven't got around to construction yet, but all the information is there.

I too recently bought Walt's Flea Circus DVD and second magicjohn's recommendation.

I am still looking for a great suitcase, if anybody has one!

Walt Noon's video is first-class.

Cost Plus World Market has some great retro-looking suitcases (the deep kind) that would work great for Flea Circuses.

I couldn't find them online, but I saw them in a store.

If you want classy looking Flea Circuses built in either real old cigar boxes or Mossman luggage trunks go here...
