Does anyone know of any resources to get going with the Triple Threat. I have one but I am struggling on how to use it.

I have way too many card to wallets, but at the end of the day I always go back to my original Kaps wallet for strolling work and use the JOL Hip pocket for casual (no jacket) needs. A nice tip for the JOL hip pocket is to Crazy glue the side pocket permanently shut so that it won't accidentally snap open during the loading sequence.

I rate the Mullica Wallet considerably higher than any others I've come across. I have a JOL wallet, which is very beautiful, but it's not as clean as a Mullica. With the Mullica Wallet, you can show your hand very cleanly both sides is empty, as you reach for the wallet.....you can very cleanly show the wallet all around, and it's plain leather, there are NO pockets, openings, or ANYWHERE you might be able to load a card. The "move" itself becomes SO quick when you use this regularly, it really appears that the cards never go near the wallet....and of course, this method can be used "impromptu" with almost ANY wallet.
The JOL wallet allows you to have the card in a sealed envelope - which would be tricky with a Mullica (though not impossible) - but I find the Mullica handling to be absolutely the most deceptive. When folks try to "deconstruct" the method, they will likely guess what happened with a JOL wallet (well, some will)....but with a Mullica Wallet, the method involves all the dirty work happening right under their noses....yet unfathomable - it's blatant, but quite brilliant! The best thing is, the Mullica method is very easy, quite possibly the easiest card to wallet effect. My opinion. Potty |

I have to agree with Potty. I have at onetime or another owned just about every wallet out there. For strolling work, I always go back to my Mullica wallet.

Potty I think you missed an important feature of the JOL Plus Wallets, and that is the No Palm Feature. Watch the DVD, the load is completely invisible, can be done surrounded, under any conditions. And is the cleanest and fastest loading wallet there is. I did it over and over at Blackpool, because they cound not believe how fast and invisible it actually was. And then we sold out.

Hi Craig,When you say ''watch the dvd'' Do you mean there is a demo of this?
I thought all 'no palm' wallets loaded in a way close to a Mullica anyway.

Markymark, on the DVD that comes with each wallet there is a demo of Craig using the no-palm feature. I don't have every wallet on the market but I find my JOL wallet to be extremely versatile for both palm and no-palm loads.
Craig's demo is very smooth and shows the no-palm feature in action. The wallet doesn't even look like it physically touches the deck and the dirty work is done. Very easy to load and very smooth.

The Mullica "loads" MUCH faster than the JOL (The move with the Mullica wallet is probably around 1/10 of a second - try that with your JOL wallet!) For me, the important thing is that when I remove the wallet from my pocket with my (clearly empty) hand, I can show the wallet all around, and there are NO pockets, openings, or anywhere a card might be loaded. The JOL wallet doesn't make this grade, beautiful as it is. And I've never seen a regular wallet with pockets on the outside. I use the Mullica very often, and it always ellicits gasps, shrieks, and has the spectators going for the deck to find a duplicate card (when it's signed, they think I've somehow managed to dupe their monicker!) This is as true for adults as it is for kids. Correctly routined, no one will ever notice the load. To be honest, when I do it, I can't believe the deck came anywhere near the wallet myself! I feel that routining is WAY more important than method for CTW. But the Mullica combines great routining with an ingenious method, meaning you really do get the best of both worlds. Just my opinion. ;) |

I agree Potty. And if you have a hip pocket Mullica in your back pocket you can also palm and withdraw the wallet with the card hidden.Sure it will come out face up from the smaller wallet but it's still great to have that option.

I felt in love with Allen Okawa's wallet 15 years ago. Never changed...and never will. Kind of worn now, but I have another brand new one (of the same age) waiting to be baptized.
I know about the strong points of many wallets, but this one has something special...as far as I'm concerned.

When I was still knew to magic I had the impression that you could do it with the spectators wallet. I did I got I duplicate into a freinds back pocket with a bulge sneaking behind him while no one was watching. I vanished his forced card using a method I cant recall and when I told him to check is wallet to my suprise it was not only in their but in a pocket by some one in a million chance. They talked about it for weeks! I suppose if you were a good pickpocket and expert at misdirection you could pick pocket them slip the card then replace it.
