This one did not go according to plan. Thanks again, Elliott |

I finally resolved the mail issues, and got them all out, so check your email and bulk mail folders. As usual, a bunch of emails bounced back. Most of you look like you got it OK, though. Elliott-
Thanks for the update. I just noticed the part in your book where you mentioned that your copy of the "Art of Mentalism" is inscribed "To Marcello." You should feel honored to have that. It was the copy that belonged to the late Marcello Truzzi, a man whose fame spread far beyond the magic/mentalism community. He was a dear friend of mine and was Chairman of the Sociology Department at the University of Michigan and the original editor of the Zetetic. Do a Google on him and you will be amazed at the breadth of his accomplishments. Also, you frequently mention in the book that you haven't been able to get in touch with me via email for certain permissions, etc. Well, that's no longer the case, so ask away and update the next edition! Best- Bob |

Thank you so much, Bob.
I wondered who Marcello was, and I’m honored to have his copy of the The Art of Mentalism. It’s an amazing book filled with incredible ideas. One idea that really made an impression on me was the way you obtain misdirection for the Annemann style switch, as described in the instructions (pages 30-31) for The Final Version of the Three Envelope Test. It’s so simple, but works so well! I have used your billet switching idea many times (especially when I was testing "Back from the Dead,") and also have a handling addition for the occasional troublemaker. Anyways, I was wondering if I could have your permission to describe your excellent idea in a forthcoming Switchcraft supplement? Thank you so much, Elliott |

Got the new supplement. Thanking you kindly, Elliot!
Boy, if this thing weren't good enough to begin with, it just keeps on getting better and better If you haven't already got Switchcraft, you NEED to own a copy - seriously! I've also been discussing a few things with Elliot via PM and may I say he is the most polite and friendly guy in the universe! An absolute pleasure to talk to and deal with and I know that anyone who's spoken to him before will know exactly what I mean. |

However, I have some viable alternate means of distributing the files. Just send me your name and email address via PM. I'll find you on my mailing list and get you the latest edition ASAP. Thanks again, Elliott |

You’re welcome, Ron.
I just received permission to include an incredible billet technique in the forthcoming supplement. Between the technique and routine just contributed (and all the other stuff within,) it may turn out to be the best supplement ever. Now, if I could only get a few people to buy the book… |
