I highly recommend purchasing the Fred Kaps Seeing is Believing DVD. It doesn't teach tricks, and instead illustrates what I consider to be the true "secrets" to top-notch performance--scripting, routining, economy of motion, acting, connecting with an audience, etc. Kaps was a great magician and it's an excellent DVD.

I second the kudos for Seeing is Believing. You can get it at http://www.fredkapsdvd.com/ Well worth it, even though there is no instruction on methods.

When asked who most influenced the local dealer at my shop, besides Slydini and Frank Garcia (his mentors) he has deep rooted appreciation and respect for Kaps. Not only in his manipulations, but more for his character and humility.
