The feat that you are about to see that was done on Harry Lorayne sometime ago was done with N-Strippers. As far as I know this is the first time any footage have ever been shown on this work because of how hard it is to do.

The making of this move is not shown because it's a gambling technique that's used to beat cheats so to any on looker it looks just like a regular stripper deck.

1. The first video is the N-Stripper technique.
2. The second video is the N-Stripper technique applied to the Doc/Steven's Cull/Control.
3. The third video is a cut that I made up to retain the decks order after watching Jeff Wessmiller's video of a hop that he did.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBFJCSKh03c

Doc

P.S. To Whom It May Concern. When a person makes up something he has the right to do whatever he wants with it and since I made up this control/technique I have the right to show it to whomever I want to. If you don't like it then don't look at it or you can make up your own or continue to perfect the Steven's Control but don't tell me what to do with mine.

Thanks Doc you got me! I don't know about n strippers and that did not give me a clue how it is done, I found it amazing. The cut also got me, that looked great.

Doc,

Great Work....But, you know what.....I think it is even more impressive when you do it live vs. video.

Side note:

Has anyone seen a similar cull, stack, etc. which can be done from the "Roman" (in the hands riffle) shuffle ?

Sure experienced card players shuffle on the table...but most regular "Joe's" do an "in the hands "Roman" riffle shuffle.

Thoughts ?

No strippers here sir! Bait and switch. I thought the N-Stripper technique was something new with pole dancing.

I haven't been this disappointed since I saw the movie Twister, which by the way not once did they actually play Twister.

I hope all know this was a joke.

Café BEST AWARD: Alluring post title!

Really good video too by the way. Just wish it wasn't private!
I love magic!

The video went private because 417 people supposedly viewed it but only 7 spoke on it? Since it's not worth talking about, it's not worth viewing.

Thank You

Doc, I think folks who really understood what you were doing were hesitant to comment for want of not tipping N-Strippers.
Most of the folks who viewed wouldn't understand what they were watching.

All I can say is "Five frickin' different sets"..........."I suck"!!

Doc-- Silveking is correct, I for one pm'd you. You know your work is always admired in my book. I didn't comment here because I didn't even want to give a clue. Personally, I feel you did the right thing by going private with the video. The majority of the people here aren't ready for that type of work, but as you said, you are free to show it if you wish... which you are.

I am just grateful my teacher was able to teach me in person. Hopefully, soon, I can meet up with him again.

I must agree that there was something to Silverking's and C. Loubard's comments on why more haven't responded to this thread. On the other hand, an almost empty thread is a good place for me to come out of the closet. (I don't want thousands of viewers, after all, for coming out of the closet). I have been, since reading the Café, extraordinarily interested in Doc's teaching. To this I will say the following:

Why Is Doc My Teacher

Jeff, Why is Doc your teacher? I respect him. I respect his knowlege, his writing, his videos showing his use of cards and dice, his spirituality, and his courage. I also respect him as a man. He is honest about his conflicts--being a Christian and a self-acknowledged hustler; desiring respect and recognition in a profession in which he must hide his most useful and developed skills. He is at the same time open and cryptic: he asks us to read between the lines. He is a Master. And he yearns for students.

I have honestly read EVERYTHING he has written in this forum, and that in the context of the complete threads in which they were written. The fact is that after lurking for several months I signed up for an account at the Magic Café PRECISELY because I wanted to read everything he had written, and one had to have an account to use the search function. Strange, but true. So, having read everything he has written here, I consider Doc my teacher.

Why I Am Not Doc's Student

Very simple: I am not a magician, and I am not a gambler or a hustler or a player or anything. I am not even what Scott would call a "bedroom cheater".

Who Am I?

Well, who cares?

I will say this: Doc used Bruce Lee as an example. I am more like the fictional Kwai Chang Caine. I have my own path. I learn the skills for reasons of my own. I don't perform gambling demonstrations, and I don't hustle. But I have my art, and it serves my purposes...for now. I don't really belong here, according to most here. But I do belong here, because it is the path I have chosen.

N-Strippers

Few people--including myself--have had anything to say about N-strippers. Well, Doc's work, as usual, is beautiful, as was his infinity pass (which I've watched at least a hundred times, as well as his cold decking, false shuffles, and dice work. I've seen it all, many times.) But what is there to say? We could ask how he does it. But that's not the point. We could ask what N-srippers are. Would he tell us? I could guess what N-strippers are*, but again, would he tell us?

Or, I can watch, read and learn. I don't have to post to do that. Maybe that's the case with most of the viewers. We are fascinated and impressed, but what is there to say?

What Is My Point?

Doc wants students. I respect that. He is disappointed that this thread has received so little response.

Perhaps he should take some time away from posting and rent the DVD of the pilot episode of Kung Fu (the one with David Carradine). In the beginning, there are a group of kids wanting to get into the Shao Lin temple. Some boys are anxious to get in. Some are impatient and go away. Kwai Chang just waits.

The Magic Café is not the Shao Lin temple, but Doc still might learn something about how to get a certain kind of student.

I, for one, am not going to send PMs asking to be privy to Doc's most treasured secrets. I'm not going to say, "Doc, I'm a hustler and I need your moves." I'm not going to say, "Doc, I'm a magician and I need your moves." I'm not going to ask for his notes on his Infinity Pass. I don't think my hands are big enough to do it anyway.

I will acknowlege Doc as a Master. But I will not pay him anything, unless he chooses to sell his knowlege in a book or DVD like all the other supposed Masters.**

Instead, I'll just continue reading here, posting occasionally when I have questions.

Doc: You often tell us to read between the lines. Can you?

Sincerely and with God's love, and may God bless you and your family,
Your friend and someone who considers you his teacher,
Jeff

*Just for fun, I will PM Doc about N-strippers

**How much did Erdnase make? How much did Walter Scott make? Was money really the object of their teaching? I realise that Erdnase explicitly said that he needed the money. But I don't believe him. Consider this quote from Phantoms:

"Walter told me once that he prayed for the day that someone would be able to show him the work. He knew that as he got older it would disappear for him, and it did. It's gone for me now but I hope that one day I'll sit back and someone will show me the work. That would be great." --Gazzo

Stoneunhinged thank you for the kind words, it was nice of you to take the time out and write such a lengthy explanation about why you came here and why you read my stuff. As a cheat I am not suppose to reveal the secrets and I won't unless otherwise stated like the Doc/Steven's Cull but I will point my students in the right direction by letting them know what exist and what is true to the best of my ability. Erdnase, Steven's, Scott etc. didn't have a chance to really explain the things that they knew and probably wouldn't have so I'm taking this opportunity because being lied to at any level it not fun nor funny.

If my students of which I really have none choose to go down this path of unrighteousness like I did at least they will know what they are getting into. That's all I'm here for and to try and pick your brains so that I can get better of which I'm doing and I thank ya'll for it.

The viewing for the N-Stripper Technique will be off private for a couple of days only because of these few that wrote. A lot will be blessed because of Pavloer, C. Loubard, Silverking and especially Stoneunhinged.

Everyone take care and may the Lord bless you and your families.

Respectfully,

Doc

P.S. Stoneunhinged I did what you said now I'm going back to my PM to read it now. Again thanks for the compliments and the shout out.

Doc should sell dvds etc entitled true gaming protection. But his gaming protection videos would be to protect gamers or hustlers. And also maybe he can earn a salary from the hustlers and show them how to be protected from vics and casinos. MAKE A VIDEO DOC.

I can't do that Memph because a wise man once told me I can't give game to a lame and his words is so true. I show but I don't teach just like a person watching a show about pimping, it still doesn't mean that he know the game.

Doc,

Another wise man said... "A little knowledge is dangerous". A good arguement may be made regarding people reading or watching videos. "Sure they may know a move or gaff exists. But, unless they actually work the move or gaff, they really don't know the pros/cons, ins/outs or subilties which make it deceptive.

In other words, they think they are knowledgeable, but, you can fool them due to their limited experience Smile

Nothing can replace actual practice or experience when it comes to sleights, gaffs or marked cards, etc.

I also refrained from commenting on possible methods concerning DOC's videos. I figure those who know know while those that did not would find illumination or at the very least, a good show. Although my general suspicion bore out to be correct concerning the DOC Stevens cull, the 5 sets of N-Stripper in the second posting hurt me nicely.

And while I'm here, I'd like to compliment DOC on the attitude of his hands. The way DOC handles cards, it seems like he couldn't cheat worth a d@mn.
One time, when I was young, I botched a sleight so bad, Vernon, Marlo & Miller rolled over in their graves. But I didn't see Elmsley, probably because he was behind the others.
