Man, did they get beat last night. 27-10. Every break in the game went their way and they still couldn't pull through. Although that 6 yard punt by Tampa Bay was pretty funny. The Bucs were just too tough. So who're you rooting for in the Super Bowl?

Well I would have been rooting for the Eagles...but they lost. So I'm not rooting for anybody right now and not incredibly looking foward to the super bowl like I usually am.

I'm going for Oakland. I was originally cheering for the Jets, but after they lost to the Raiders I switched to Oakland. I think it should be a pretty good game, I really hope it's not a blow out.

Well.... I can't really say because we don't get the Superbowl here in NZ! Go the All Blacks I say!! (The All Blacks are NZ's national rugby team - rugby is our biggest national sport).

Odds makers are against the Bucs.
I hate to say it but the Bucs will win the SB. Hopefully Sapp will get poked in the eye a few more times. I'm still fuming after the lousy hit on one of my guys. Signed, A Packers Fan

Being from Denver, I do not care who wins as long as it is not the Raiders.

I wish I knew more about sports. I only watch the commercials and the half-time show!
(a couple years ago [like 10 years] there was a magician for the hal-time show. Anyone remember who it was?) |

Justin - the magician who did the SuperBowl halftime show was Dan Witkowski, who has also worked with General Mills doing magic promotions.
BTW, thanks to the new University of Michigan rules being applied, the Superbowl may be Eagles vs. Titans: It's Eagles v. Titans as NFL Reverses Playoff Results (Click for news story, OK, it's really a news PARODY) |

Howard,
If that's the way its played in the UK, then its no wonder NZ wins! Actually, I play soccer, but you're not supposed to admit that in NZ!

I was watching a commercial for British "football" the other day where they showed a fan running naked (censored, of course) onto and off of the field. It was hilarious and so were the announcers.

I might watch it, if there's some sort of party thing that I'm invited to, but I'm really not interested in football. (I couldn't even tell you who's playing).

It's the Oakland Raiders versus the Tampa Bay Bucs. I'm upset because Tampa Bay knocked the Eagles out of the running for the Superbowl for the second time in a row.

Ice Raven, being a Dallas fan, I can't say I really felt sorry for Philly when they lost...LOL.
I think Oakland will win this one, but I would like to see the bucs pull it off.

My son lives in Tampa and they have been experiencing the cold weather down there this week. His thinks it is self-fulfilled prophecy that Tampa will win the Super Bowl when hell freezes over.

Everyone around here is, of course, rooting for the Raiders. Their coaches throw an interesting twist into the game. One is calm, cool and collected on the field but makes radical snowball's chance in hell decisions on plays. The other, for all his field antics, is a by the book play it safe coach.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
